Heinrich Bruckner, born 1965 in Vienna, studied trumpet with Prof. Schwameis and Prof. Brugger at the Music Conservatory of Vienna and with Prof. Pomberger at the University of Music and Fine Arts in Vienna.He was recipient of several awards from the institution "Jugend musiziert". In the year of 1981 he won the third price of the Helmut Wobisch memory-award. At the age of 16 he recieved his first professional assignment as a member of the Stage Orchestra of the Austrian State Theatres. From 1987 to 2006 he performed as the first trumpet of the Vienna Symphony Orchestra.Heinrich Bruckner was teaching brass chamber music at the University for Music and Fine Arts in Vienna from 1995 till 2005. He also plays the cornetto and the natural trumpet as a member of the Ensemble Tonus. Heinrich Bruckner has performed as a soloist both in Austria and abroad. The CD with his recording of the Leopold Mozart Trumpet Concerto, released by Camerata, was nominated for the 2005 Amadeus Award.

Thomas Bieber, born 1961 in Waidhofen / Ybbs, studied horn with Prof. Veleba and Prof. Berger as well as composition with Prof. Uhl at the University of Music and Fine Arts in Vienna. In addition, he studied with Prof. Melkus at the Institute for Historic Performances and completed his studies with a Magister of Fine Arts.Since 1983 he has been playing first horn with the United Viennise Theatre Orchestra. He is also member of the "Ensemble des 20. Jahrhunderts". In 2002 he founded the Ensemble "Vienna Horns". In addition, he is music director of several austrian music festivals.

in Vienna.He has performed extensively at concerts with various groups such
as "Wiener Klangforum",
"Ensemble des 20. Jahrhunderts", "Richard Österreicher Big Band", "Vereinigte
Bühnen Wien", in Europe and abroad.He has also taught numerous seminars

Jonathan Sass, born 1961 in New York, studied with Sam Pilafian at Boston University.Jon Sass belongs to this new generation of musicians who fit a music spectrum that includes both: jazz and classical music. He performed with the Empire Brass Quintet, the Cantabrigia Brass, the Harvard Chamber Orchestra, Henry Threadgill, Hans Theessink, the David Murray Big Band, the Frank Foster Big Band, Heavy Tuba,Vienna Art Orchestra ... , and is a wellknown soloist.Living since 1989 in Vienna, Jon Sass works in studios in Europe, the U.S.A., Australia and Asia.
